We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when registering on the APlus Learning app, expressing an interest in obtaining information about us, or participating in our live classes and video courses. This includes your name, email address, profile photo, and role (student or instructor).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information collected via our platform for a variety of business purposes, including account creation, facilitating live video streams, tracking exam simulator performance, grading theory answers via AI, and enabling real-time chat between students and instructors.

3. Sharing Your Information

We only share information with third-party service providers necessary to operate our app. This includes cloud hosting providers, AI grading models (Google Gemini), payment gateways (like Paystack, Stripe, and PayPal), and live streaming infrastructure. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.

4. Payments, Coins, and Refunds

APlus Learning utilizes an in-app virtual currency system ("Coins") for accessing premium exams, unlocking detailed review solutions, and purchasing select courses. When you make a purchase, transactions are securely processed by our third-party payment gateways.

  • Digital Goods: Because coins, exams, and video courses are digital goods that are instantly delivered, all sales are generally final and non-refundable.
  • Accidental Purchases: If you experience a technical error resulting in a duplicate charge, please contact our support team within 48 hours of the transaction with your receipt.
  • Instructor Payouts: Instructors utilizing the platform to sell courses or host live classes are subject to specific admin commission fees as outlined in their instructor dashboard.

5. Acceptable Use and Platform Misuse

To maintain a safe, educational environment for all users, strict rules apply to how you use APlus Learning. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice or refund if you engage in the following activities:

  • Content Piracy: Screen-recording, downloading, or illegally distributing premium video courses, live classes, or exam questions.
  • System Exploitation: Attempting to hack, manipulate the coin wallet system, reverse-engineer the AI grading agent, or bypass payment gateways.
  • Harassment & Spam: Using the chat features or live classes to spam, harass, bully, or share inappropriate/explicit content with other students or instructors.
  • Account Sharing: Sharing premium accounts between multiple users to bypass course or exam fees.

6. Data Security & Retention

We implement industry-standard organizational and technical security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards, no electronic transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We retain your exam history, coin wallet balance, and purchased course data for as long as your account remains active.

7. Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to review, change, or terminate your account at any time. If you wish to delete your account permanently, you may do so through the account settings in the mobile application or by contacting our support email. Upon request, all associated personal data, exam history, and remaining wallet coins will be permanently erased.
